This rag top classic is bright san mateo red with a white interior. It doesn’t get much sexier than that. The owner has had the interior re-done along with new top and fresh paint. We have found no rust issues on this car. Seems to be a nice, dry example of a late 60's summer cruiser. It has its original wheels and good tires. 1964 Cadillac Deville Convertible. 41154 original miles. Purchased from the original owner last year. It has received a meticulous frame-up restoration. This cadillac was straight and amazingly solid car before the restoration took place. The following work to the car has been done: Paint- Code 26 Somerset Blue Metallic This cadillac was sanded down to bare metal. Variprime self etch primer, urethane primer, block sanded two times, sealler, Dupont basecoat paint,3 coats of clear coat. Then wet sanded and buffed to slick as glass finish. It is a high end paint finish that is straight as an arrow. The dark blue metallic color shines brightly in the sunlight but looks black at night. Very classy Engine - Numbers matching 429 with 340 horsepower. Detailed engine compartment. New belts, hoses, flushed,All new fluids, new battery, alternator rebuilt. The engine runs strong and dependable. Brakes- power drum brakes with new brake shoes, hoses, wheel cylinders, dependable and work properly. -Transmission- 400 turbo hydramatic ,shifts smooth. This was the first year of the 400 turbo and only used in late year 1964 production. Tires- New 205/75R15 radials, with correct white wall stripe, rides smooth. The original hubcaps are in excellent condition. Exhaust System- new with new muffler and resonator. Trunk -area is all original with trunk mat and cardboard kit, spare tire, nicely detailed and trunk light still works, new trunk seal, solid trunk floor, no rust Undercarriage - Solid no rust issues, all original trunk and floor pans, Painted with chassis black satin. Convertible Top - All original in excellent condition. Power top works great, the back window is plastic and has some yellowing due to its ageWeather Strips- All new from soft seal, door and truck areasInterior- All original, power leather seats, dash is in perfect condition, original door panels, steering wheel excellent and horn work, new carpet, a true joy to sit in while driving this classic CadillacRadio- AM/FM with working power antennae Chrome Bumpers- All re chromed and shine brightly, all new grade 8 bolts used to reassemble Stainless Molding- Removed and polished with no pittingGlass- All original in excellent condition, power windows work properly vent windows are hand cranked and in good working conditionExtras- New door handles and exterior mirror, Cadillac emblems, working windshield wipers, turns signals, and brake lights In Closing- This Cadillac should be seen in person to appreciate the attention to detail.
