For the collectors, it is "numbers matching" bike (ZBA40 on both the frame and engine) and has a Vegalia speedometer which reads in Kilometers. I spent a ridiculous amount of money to have the "Prestigio" leather seat recovered with the right leather, underlayment, stitching and rivets, and it is perfec. There are a couple of scratches and a couple places that the paint has been touched up

The flash forward effect is distinguished by the complex (polyelliptical) headlight shape equipped with LED daylight running light (DRL) a unique piece of design that is a work of art itself. The instrument panel is equally striking, contained in a 150 mm diameter circular panel with the analogue rev counter scale finding its place along the external circumference and a multifunction full-matrix suspended display at the centre, all packaged neatly, like a luxury watch, in a bright chromed housing. 2016 Moto Guzzi Audace ABS, 2016 Moto Guzzi Audace THE BIKE The Audace can be picked out immediately by its front end, stylistically lighter thanks to the circular headlight unit and the (real) carbon mudguard mounted on a fork without coverings. There are several other new features that contribute to enhance the muscular character of this bike: like the oil cooler air-scoop, the metallic radiator grill and the brand new total-black short megaphone exhaust. Also all chrome plating has been eliminated, and every mechanical detail and each exposed metallic part has been blacked-out. The platform floorboards and rocker gear shift pedal mounted on all the other models in the range have been replaced by sportier footpegs mounted further forward with a classic gear shifter pedal. Particular attention was given to the saddle, covered in faux leather with exposed red stitching, lowered in terms of the seating position and installation ready for the foldaway passenger seat. The drag handlebar is also new which, thanks to the forward position of the footpegs and the different seating height, create a longer and more dominating riding position, compared to the California Custom. Other stylistic changes to contribute to a more aggressive look can be found in the details: the burnished valve covers, the rear shock absorbers with separate gas reservoir, the light alloy wheels personalized with the Moto Guzzi logo and the minimal black mirrors. Powerful and aggressive, the Audace looks as if it is crouched down on its haunches like a large feline ready to unleash its explosive power on the asphalt, leaving the marks of its oversize 200/65 rear tire. The generosity of the 90° V-twin 1400cc engine "Made in Mandello" is well known by now and on the Audace at high revs is livelier than ever; thanks to the new exhaust system with redesigned fluid dynamics. Lets start with the suspension, Mathis Front suspension, Race Tech rear suspension. The seat was sent to Sargents Seats for their gel seat insert and about an inch was taken off the top. The brake and clutch levers are also upgraded

This bike started life on the east coast and was bought by a friend of mine a few years ago from the original owner. My friend moved out here and looked me up to help him service the bike. I have been servicing, restoring, collecting and preserving guzzi's for many years. The bike was a bit rough but was very stock. Short story is, i purchased the bike from him last year to preserve it and to get it back on the road as the loving beast it is. I completely went through the entire bike. The heads were completely rebuilt with new valves, guides, etc. They were in great shape but i like to be safe with the intention of making sure someone is getting a great solid bike. All seals, gaskets, hoses, bearings, and rubber bits were replaced including intake boots. I also replaced the timing chain tensioner, timing chain, and oil pump sprocket. The pistons, rings and cylinder bores look fantastic as did the main bearings which tells me the bike was serviced on a regular basis. Carbs were completely rebuilt with new everything. The clutch had been replaced at one point but was in great condition so i left it alone. Rear drive was rebuilt and shimmed as was the trans. It is sporting a brand new pair of pirelli sport demon tires. She also has a set of dyna coils along with a brand new dyna ignition. The original owner had rat holed away the original exhaust, seat, and chrome bits so they have very few miles on them and look great. The bike also has a brand new duracell motorcycle specific battery and also has a brand new valeo starter. It is rare to find one with all the original bits on it. This thing is running so good! I just re torqued the heads for the final time and gave it a good tuning. She is a runner with an awesome personality. Cosmetically the bike has allot of honest riding wear from running up and down the east coast most of its life. The paint on the side covers is worn through and peeling off in many places. I have another 1000s here i am looking after for a very good friend that has the same type of wear from being ridden allot too. All paint is original though! Overall, the bike just has a very cool character and wants to be ridden. The decals and even new side covers are readily available if one wished to repaint a set. I am a stickler for keeping things as original as possible though. I will include a near new complete lafranconi competzione exhaust with head pipes and crossover. I will also include the stock points set, reflectors, and jets. I have put allot of time and money into this bike and would feel safe taking it anywhere anytime just as any guzzi can. I know i am leaving allot out so please feel free to ask questions. These bike are really rare and are going up extremely fast. I have sold and shipped many bikes with great results. The bike will be kept in a safe dry shop until shipping arrangements can be made.

The total-black look on the side panels, mirrors, silencer brackets and footpeg guards, first introduced on MY15. The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style. This new V7 II Racer is all about the details, and new brake and clutch levers, have been redesigned in order to achieve better ergonomics. One of the most distinctive features of this special-edition is the widespread use of anodized matt black and drilled aluminum.
