After the drivetrain was done it was put back in the bike as an original cruiser and that is when most of the miles were put on it.. The Rear drive was taken apart, bearings and seals replaced and the shims were checked. The transmission was torn apart, all bearings and seals were replaced
The triple matching numbers r69s had been restored by the previous owner who had owned it since 1980. The work i have carried out since purchasing the bike : new valves, springs, re-sleeved guides, new piston rings, glaze busted bores, new clutch with back plate and re sleeved carburetors.
